Rolex seeks an intern in Geneva to optimize embedding strategies for LLM-based document retrieval systems; hands-on AI research role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive literature review on semantic embedding approaches and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures applied to enterprise document search
- Analyze existing use cases, available datasets, and indexing strategies currently deployed
- Design and implement a comparative evaluation framework for embedding solutions
- Investigate model adaptation and fine-tuning on specialized corpora to enhance search quality
- Develop a cost-performance evaluation framework and analyze interpretability of generated representations
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Master's degree in Data Science, Robotics, or equivalent field
- Proficiency in core data science tools: Python, NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch, or TensorFlow
- Strong foundation in deep learning and natural language processing (NLP)
- Experience with Transformer architectures and language models
- Demonstrated analytical rigor and autonomous problem-solving capability
