Rolex internship in Geneva: develop dynamic shock deformation models for precision timepiece movements in R&D.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop a dynamic model describing the deformation of the embedded movement during shock impact
- Design and oversee the fabrication of simplified prototypes for experimental validation
- Plan, execute, and analyze validation measurements using laser vibrometry
- Calibrate the computational model based on experimental measurements
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Master's program in Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Microtechnics, or equivalent
- Proficiency in general mechanics, numerical simulations, and programming
- Ability to analyze and interpret experimental results
- Rigorous and autonomous working approach
