Role & Responsibilities
- Design and implement backend services for a web portal that automates infrastructure provisioning and deployment.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code modules (e.g., Terraform) and configuration management playbooks (e.g., Ansible).
- Integrate the portal with CI/CD pipelines and source control to enable automated, auditable deployments.
- Containerize applications and orchestrate workloads using Docker and Kubernetes where appropriate.
- Implement RESTful APIs and collaborate on frontend components to deliver a coherent user experience.
- Write unit and integration tests, perform validation in staging environments and troubleshoot deployment issues.
- Produce clear technical documentation, run knowledge-transfer sessions and present project deliverables to stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with operations, security and platform engineering teams to ensure compliance with corporate standards.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Practical experience with infrastructure as code and configuration management (Terraform, Ansible or equivalent).
- Hands-on programming experience in at least one language such as Python or Go.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Experience using Git and CI/CD tooling (GitLab CI, Jenkins or equivalent).
- Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Interest in secure, auditable deployment processes and enterprise IT operations.
- Professional working proficiency in English; French language skills are advantageous.
