Role & Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end industrialization projects from prototype validation to series production, ensuring manufacturability, cost control and on-time ramp-up.
- Define and optimise production processes, tooling and assembly flows in collaboration with design, production, quality and supply teams.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and external suppliers; establish schedules, milestones and critical-path management for project delivery.
- Drive transfer of technologies and equipment commissioning, including acceptance criteria, test plans and capacity validation.
- Implement design-for-manufacturing (DFM/DFMA) recommendations and continuous improvement initiatives to raise yield and reduce cycle times.
- Manage technical documentation, process specifications, control plans (APQP), FMEAs and validation records to meet regulatory and internal quality standards.
- Monitor project budgets and supplier performance; identify and mitigate manufacturing risks and escalate issues when required.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in industrialization or production transfer projects within precision manufacturing, ideally fine watchmaking, medical devices or high-precision engineering.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing technologies, tooling, metrology and assembly techniques for micro-mechanical components.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple concurrent technical projects to strict timelines.
- Strong analytical aptitude with experience in problem-solving methodologies (e.g., FMEA, root-cause analysis) and quality systems.
- Professional communication skills and stakeholder management; able to present technical status to senior leadership.

Experience
Approximately 5+ years of progressive experience in industrialization, manufacturing engineering or production transfer, with at least several projects delivered to series production in a high-precision environment; prior exposure to horology or micro-mechanics is highly desirable.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering; a Master's degree or equivalent technical qualification is preferred.
