Rolex seeks an Industrialization Manager in Geneva to lead process industrialization, production transfers and supplier readiness for high-precision watchmaking.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and deploy the industrialization strategy to transfer prototypes and new models into robust, repeatable serial production.
- Lead end-to-end industrialization projects including process design, tooling and equipment qualification, pilot runs and production ramp-up.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (R&D, quality, manufacturing, supply chain, procurement) to secure on-time industrial readiness.
- Implement process validation, first article inspection, APQP and FMEA methodologies to guarantee product conformity and manufacturability.
- Drive continuous-improvement and Lean initiatives to improve yield, reduce cycle time and optimise production costs.
- Manage relationships with external suppliers and subcontractors to ensure their industrial readiness and quality performance.
- Recruit, coach and develop a high-performance team of industrialization and process engineers; manage department budget and KPIs.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, microtechnology or watchmaking engineering.
- Proven leadership experience managing engineers and technical projects in high-precision or watchmaking/manufacturing environments.
- Solid mastery of industrialisation methodologies: APQP, FMEA, SPC, process validation and pilot production techniques.
- Demonstrable track record of implementing Lean manufacturing and continuous-improvement programs.
- Strong project-management skills; ability to deliver complex, cross-functional projects to scope, schedule and cost.
- Professional working proficiency in French and English; additional languages are advantageous.
- Willingness to travel to supplier sites and production facilities as required.

Typically 7+ years of progressive experience in industrialization, process engineering or manufacturing in precision industries, with several years in a leadership role and direct responsibility for serial production launches.
Education
Master’s degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, microtechnology, or watchmaking engineering.
