Rolex SA seeks Industrial Equipment Reliability Modeling Intern in Bienne, Switzerland. Six-month internship starting September 2026.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Identify and analyze primary failure modes of industrial equipment
  • Model equipment failure rates using statistical methods
  • Implement one or more predictive failure models
  • Develop and recommend an optimized maintenance strategy based on failure probability and mode analysis
  • Prepare a comprehensive technical report documenting findings and recommendations
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to support ongoing operational projects

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or final-year candidate for Master's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Microtechnology, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent discipline
  • Knowledge of statistical reliability methods, particularly Weibull distribution theory
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Service-oriented mindset with demonstrated proactivity and autonomy

Experience
