Rolex SA seeks Industrial Equipment Reliability Modeling Intern in Bienne, Switzerland. Six-month internship starting September 2026.
Role & Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze primary failure modes of industrial equipment
- Model equipment failure rates using statistical methods
- Implement one or more predictive failure models
- Develop and recommend an optimized maintenance strategy based on failure probability and mode analysis
- Prepare a comprehensive technical report documenting findings and recommendations
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to support ongoing operational projects
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or final-year candidate for Master's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Microtechnology, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent discipline
- Knowledge of statistical reliability methods, particularly Weibull distribution theory
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Service-oriented mindset with demonstrated proactivity and autonomy
Skills
Experience
Currently pursuing advanced studies in a quantitative or engineering discipline with foundational knowledge of reliability engineering and statistical methods.
Education
Master's degree (final year or enrolled) in Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Microtechnology, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent field.
