Rolex seeks an Industrial Equipment Procurement Buyer to lead industrial equipment acquisition projects and manage the dedicated supplier portfolio. The role supports internal clients, conducts tenders and negotiations, and contributes to category strategy and operational excellence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead industrial equipment acquisition projects from identifying needs through contract implementation.
- Manage, coordinate and develop the supplier portfolio.
- Advise internal clients with a focus on service quality and value creation.
- Identify optimal supplier solutions in line with technical, quality, economic and schedule requirements.
- Manage tenders, evaluate proposals and conduct commercial and contractual negotiations.
- Build lasting, high-standard relationships with strategic suppliers.
- Ensure supplier portfolio performance against cost, quality, delivery, innovation, reliability and sustainability criteria.
- Contribute to the category purchasing strategy through continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Work closely with technical, industrial and project teams in a collaborative, service-oriented partnership.
Qualifications
- Higher technical education, ideally complemented by a specialization in procurement.
- Demonstrated experience in industrial equipment procurement.
- Strong command of production equipment-related topics, ideally in machining and maintenance.
- Proven experience managing a supplier portfolio and conducting negotiations with significant technical and commercial dimensions.
- Knowledge of the watchmaking sector is an asset.
- Strong interpersonal skills with internal clients, a genuine service culture and high standards.
- Ability to work in environments where precision, responsiveness and execution quality are essential.
- Rigour, autonomy, analytical thinking and ease working across functions.
- Fluent French and professional English; German is an asset.
