Role & Responsibilities
- Learn to produce detailed technical drawings and plans for small mechanical assemblies using computer‑aided design (CAO) systems.
- Translate design concepts into manufacturable parts, specifying tolerances, materials and assembly sequences.
- Support prototyping and manufacturing teams by preparing documentation and participating in assembly and testing activities.
- Apply geometric and technical principles to solve design challenges specific to micro‑mechanics and watch components.
- Maintain clear technical documentation and adhere to Rolex quality, safety and confidentiality standards while under the guidance of experienced trainers.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated interest and aptitude for mathematics, geometry and physics.
- Strong spatial representation and manual drawing skills; predisposition for technical drawing.
- Comfortable with computer tools and willingness to learn CAO/CAD systems.
- Good written communication skills in a professional context.
- Registration for and successful completion of the EVA / EVATech aptitude tests (candidates should register via https://eva-evatech.ch/).

No prior professional experience required. The programme targets motivated school leavers with strong STEM aptitudes and an eagerness to train on the job under experienced instructors.
Education
