Rolex SA seeks Industrial Data Engineer in Geneva to lead production data excellence, PLM/SAP expertise, and data governance initiatives.
Role & Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain expertise on PLM and SAP data models across the manufacturing site
- Direct the evolution of site-wide industrial classification systems and standards
- Foster collaboration between production partners on-site and across inter-site operations
- Define and formalize data governance rules with business stakeholders to ensure data consistency
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators aligned with operational objectives
- Provide coaching and support to Industrialisation department staff on PLM platform utilisation
- Oversee the management of technical production data within SAP and PLM systems, including routings and articles
Qualifications
- Master's degree in engineering and industrial management from HES/EPF or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience in industrial environments with demonstrated expertise in data quality challenges
- Strong proficiency with production data models and data architecture concepts
- Advanced competency with PLM, SAP, and Tableau Desktop software platforms
- Natural leadership qualities with strong analytical and synthesis capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal and diplomatic skills with proven ability to facilitate group engagement
Skills
Experience
Confirmed experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering, with demonstrated success managing data quality initiatives and cross-site technical projects. Experience with enterprise data systems implementation and data model governance preferred.
Education
Master's degree in engineering and industrial management (HES/EPF) or equivalent qualification in engineering disciplines.
