Role & Responsibilities

  • Define, design and govern the ICS/OT security architecture for manufacturing and watchmaking facilities, ensuring robust protection of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA and control networks.
  • Conduct threat modelling, risk assessments and attack-surface analyses specific to industrial control systems and operational environments.
  • Specify and implement network segmentation, secure remote access, zone/transit architectures and hardening measures aligned with IEC 62443 and relevant best practices.
  • Drive OT-focused detection and monitoring strategy including integration with SIEM, IDS/OT anomaly platforms (asset monitoring, baselining and alerting).
  • Lead vulnerability management, patching strategies and secure lifecycle processes for OT appliances and embedded systems.
  • Collaborate with plant engineering, automation vendors and IT teams to embed security requirements into projects, change control and procurement.
  • Design incident response playbooks and tabletop exercises for OT incidents; lead investigations and remediation activities when required.
  • Define security standards, technical controls and compliance evidence to support audits and internal governance.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record designing and delivering security architectures for industrial control systems or critical manufacturing environments.
  • Hands-on familiarity with ICS/SCADA technologies and protocols (e.g., PLCs, HMIs, Modbus, OPC UA, DNP3) and major automation platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of OT security frameworks and standards such as IEC 62443 and NIST SP 800-82; ability to translate them into operational controls.
  • Experience integrating OT detection/monitoring solutions and secure remote access for control networks.
  • Relevant professional certifications preferred (examples: GICSP, CISSP, ISA/IEC 62443 practitioner, GIAC OT-related certs).
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, cybersecurity or equivalent technical discipline.
