HVAC Technician role at Rolex Geneva: oversee heating, ventilation, and climate control systems in industrial luxury manufacturing.
Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor and control periodic operation of HVAC systems via the building management system (BMS)
- Optimize the functioning of control loops within HVAC installations to enhance energy efficiency
- Diagnose, analyze, and resolve technical failures and system malfunctions
- Conduct measurement campaigns and balancing of hydraulic and aeraulic systems
- Participate in functional testing of critical system controls and safety interlocks
- Address technical alarms flagged through the supervision platform
- Oversee subcontractor work to guarantee quality and safety standards compliance per technical specifications
- Supervise contractor teams conducting preventive and corrective maintenance on heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and sanitary systems
- Develop specifications and technical briefs for engineering projects
- Maintain 24/7 HVAC technical on-call coverage according to established team scheduling
Qualifications
- Federal CFC Refrigeration Certificate or equivalent
- Proven experience managing clean room installations and HVAC systems in industrial settings
- Proficiency with Building Management System (BMS) software for monitoring, parameterization, and energy optimization
- Confirmed expertise in maintaining complex HVAC installations within industrial environments
- Advanced competency with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software
- Mastery of core office software tools including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Strong teamwork and ability to manage external contractors and service providers
- Excellent customer-focused communication skills and stakeholder engagement
Skills
Experience
Confirmed professional experience in the maintenance and operation of complex HVAC installations within industrial manufacturing environments, including clean room management. Demonstrated expertise in supervising subcontractor teams and managing emergency technical interventions.
Education
Federal CFC Refrigeration Certificate (mandatory). Advanced technical training in thermal and climate engineering, renewable energy systems, or building technology techniques (advantageous).
