Rolex — Geneva: HVAC (Building Services) Design Engineer to design and coordinate heating, ventilation, cooling and sanitary systems.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop technical design packages for heating, ventilation, air conditioning and sanitary (CVCS) systems, including plans, sections and principle schematics.
- Size and calculate hydraulic networks for heating, ventilation and sanitary systems and select equipment according to technical directives.
- Produce and maintain detailed AutoCAD/Revit models and drawings; apply and integrate the corporate BIM methodology.
- Coordinate installations and layouts with electrical counterparts and other trades; participate in multidisciplinary coordination meetings and synthesize outcomes.
- Perform site surveys and take accurate as-built measurements in operational facilities.
- Verify, control and update revision drawings and ensure the organisation and currency of technical documentation.
Qualifications
- Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as a Building Services Designer (Heating/Ventilation) or equivalent qualification.
- Proven, solid experience in CVCS/MEP within industrial or technically demanding environments.
- Strong knowledge of applicable Swiss standards (SIA) and of regulatory constraints affecting building services.
- Demonstrable proficiency in BIM methodology and its implementation on projects.
- Excellent command of AutoCAD and Revit; competent with standard office software tools.
- High level of rigour, attention to detail and precision in documentation and drawings.
Skills
Experience
Solid, hands-on experience designing and specifying HVAC, ventilation and sanitary systems in industrial or complex building projects; experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and working on live sites.
Education
CFC (Certificat Fédéral de Capacité) in Building Services Design — Heating/Ventilation or equivalent technical diploma.
