Rolex is hiring a High Horology Jeweler in Geneva, Switzerland — skilled artisan for watch jewellery and stone setting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute precision jewellery work for high‑end watch components, including stone setting, micro‑soldering, hand engraving and fine finishing.
- Fabricate and assemble decorative elements for watch dials, bezels, bracelets and cases to exacting technical drawings and standards.
- Collaborate with watchmakers, product development and design teams to translate concepts into manufacturable, luxury‑grade jewellery executions.
- Perform quality control inspections and documentation to ensure conformity with stringent aesthetic and durability specifications.
- Maintain and calibrate bench tools and microscopes; propose improvements to processes and finishing techniques to enhance product quality and reproducibility.
- Ensure meticulous traceability of materials and adherence to internal standards for precious metals and gemstones.
Qualifications
- Vocational diploma or equivalent in goldsmithing, jewellery making, gemmology or watchmaking; completion of a relevant apprenticeship preferred.
- Proven technical mastery of stone setting, micro‑soldering, hand engraving and polishing on precious metals.
- Deep knowledge of gemstones, precious metals and appropriate handling/setting techniques for watch applications.
- Excellent manual dexterity, visual acuity and steady hand under magnification.
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings and tight tolerances; strong attention to detail and finishing standards.
Skills
Experience
Several years of hands‑on experience in high‑jewellery or haute horlogerie production, demonstrating independent execution of complex decorative work and familiarity with luxury watch components.
Education
Vocational diploma or certification in goldsmithing, jewellery making, gemmology or watchmaking; relevant apprenticeships or professional training in haute horlogerie are advantageous.
