Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage the multi-technology acquisition portfolio for the Ebauches (movements) sector, prioritizing projects and resources to deliver strategic objectives.
  • Oversee cross-functional innovation projects from conception through implementation, ensuring alignment with technical, quality and business requirements.
  • Stimulate project momentum by coordinating with internal stakeholders — engineering, production, procurement and quality — to remove obstacles and accelerate delivery.
  • Produce regular, factual progress reporting and KPIs for senior management and governance bodies.
  • Provide individual performance management, coaching and development for team members; conduct objective reviews and follow-up actions.
  • Foster team cohesion and establish common standards, processes and best practices across the group.
  • Ensure strict adherence to company fundamentals, policies and operational excellence principles (including LEAN).

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in engineering, microtechnology, mechanical engineering or an equivalent technical discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of managerial experience leading multidisciplinary teams, complemented by proven experience in delivering technological or organisational projects.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of precision mechanical industry practices and generic LEAN principles.
  • Strong customer-supplier orientation with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Natural leadership with the ability to motivate, federate and grow technical talent.
  • Familiarity with the watchmaking industry is a strong asset.

Experience
