Rolex Finisher position in Geneva, Switzerland. Specialist finishing technician for luxury watchmaking components.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare components for finishing operations, including disassembly of subassemblies and parts
- Execute polishing, satin finishing, deburring, smoothing, and surface refinement operations according to technical specifications and defined work sequences
- Guarantee aesthetic quality, precision, and conformity of treated components in alignment with the refined standards and finishing requirements inherent to horological production
- Conduct visual and tactile surface inspection to detect defects, scratches, marks, or deformations
- Perform necessary retouching, corrections, or refinements to ensure flawless final finish
- Comply strictly with workshop safety regulations, quality standards, and procedures
- Operate manual finishing tools, polishing machines, and specialized equipment suited to various watchmaking materials
- Process components in steel, gold, silver, titanium, and other alloys with appropriate consumables and techniques
Qualifications
- CFC (Federal Vocational Certificate) in polishing or equivalent professional qualification, supplemented by specialized training in watchmaking finishing
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in watchmaking polishing with demonstrated mastery of finishing techniques (polishing, satin finishing, deburring) and comprehensive knowledge of luxury-grade quality standards and surface finishes
- Expert proficiency with manual finishing tools and polishing machines adapted to watchmaking components
- Precise manipulation of fine, delicate, or diminutive components without damage
- Refined visual and tactile defect detection capabilities
- Rigorous interpretation and application of technical specifications, tolerances, and quality procedures
- Consistent adherence to safety and cleanliness protocols
