Role & Responsibilities
- Execute manual and machine finishing operations on watch components (cases, bracelets, dials, movement parts) to meet Rolex surface-quality standards.
- Polish, satin-brush and bevel components using lathes, polishing wheels and hand tools to achieve defined textures and tolerances.
- Inspect surfaces under magnification to detect defects and perform corrective micro-finishing.
- Collaborate with assembly, quality control and production planning to ensure component flow and conformance to timing targets.
- Document process parameters, tool usage and non-conformities in line with internal traceability requirements.
- Maintain and care for specialised finishing tools and polishing equipment; participate in preventative maintenance and housekeeping of the workstation.
Qualifications
- Professional qualification in watchmaking, micromechanics or a related craft (Swiss VET/CFC, WOSTEP or equivalent preferred).
- Proven experience in finishing or polishing within haute horlogerie or precision metalwork.
- Excellent manual dexterity, visual acuity and steady hand for micro‑finishing tasks.
