Role & Responsibilities
- Support the planning, coordination and on-site execution of corporate events, exhibitions and internal hospitality functions.
- Assist day-to-day catering operations including menu coordination, vendor liaison, order management and inventory control.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to prepare event briefs, timelines and logistical plans.
- Provide high-standard front-of-house service for VIP guests and visiting delegations, ensuring discretion and impeccable presentation.
- Contribute to cost control by preparing vendor quotes, tracking expenditures and supporting post-event reconciliation.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety and hygiene standards for food service and event venues.
- Prepare post-event reports, feedback summaries and basic performance metrics to inform continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a recognised hospitality, event management, culinary arts or related vocational/academic programme.
- Practical experience through internships or part‑time roles in catering, hospitality or events is preferred.
- Professional discretion, high standards of personal presentation and the ability to work with VIP clientele.
- Flexible availability including occasional evenings and weekends for event coverage.
- Strong organisational aptitude, attention to detail and ability to prioritise multiple tasks under pressure.
