Rolex in Geneva seeks an Event Logistics Technician to manage technical production, secure transport and on‑site logistics for brand events.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage technical logistics for brand events, including load‑in, set installation, rigging, AV setup and load‑out according to event schedules.
  • Prepare, inspect and maintain event equipment, staging, lighting and audio systems to ensure flawless technical delivery.
  • Coordinate secure handling and transport of high‑value items and exhibition pieces with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and manage packing, labelling and storage of event assets.
  • Liaise with production agencies, venue teams and third‑party vendors to ensure compliance with technical requirements and safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot on‑site technical issues and implement rapid corrective actions to minimise disruption during events.

Qualifications

  • Vocational qualification or technical diploma in logistics, event production, audiovisual technology or a related field preferred.
  • Valid driver's licence; experience driving commercial vans or light trucks advantageous.
  • Familiarity with health and safety protocols applicable to event production and material handling.

Skills

Stage rigging and trussing Professional AV systems (lighting and sound) setup and operation Material handling equipment operation (forklift/pallet jack experience preferred) Inventory management and asset tracking Vendor coordination and on‑site production management Microsoft Excel / Microsoft Office

Experience

Several years of hands‑on experience in event logistics, technical production or production operations, preferably with exposure to luxury or high‑value events and tight procedural standards.

Education

Vocational diploma or technical certificate in logistics, event production, audiovisual technology or equivalent practical experience.
