Rolex — Geneva: Equipment & Infrastructure Project Manager to lead capital projects for production equipment and facility infrastructure.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of capital projects related to production equipment, factory infrastructure and site utilities, from definition and procurement through installation, commissioning and handover.
  • Define project scope, schedule and budget; prepare business cases, technical specifications, RFQs and tender evaluations.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary internal stakeholders including production, maintenance, engineering, procurement, EHS and real estate teams to align requirements and minimize operational disruption.
  • Select, contract and supervise external vendors, contractors and consultants; manage contract performance, variations and payment milestones.
  • Oversee installation, validation and commissioning activities; ensure conformity to technical drawings, specifications and quality standards.
  • Implement risk management and change-control processes; anticipate and resolve technical, scheduling and cost issues.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable safety, environmental and regulatory requirements throughout project execution.
  • Prepare regular project reporting for senior management, including KPIs, forecasts, and budgetary controls.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, industrial, electrical) or equivalent technical qualification; advanced degree desirable.
  • Professional certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent) is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to manage capital projects within industrial or manufacturing environments, with demonstrable technical aptitude.
  • Strong contract and vendor management experience, including preparation and evaluation of tenders.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in a complex, cross-functional environment.
  • Fluent organisational skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
