Role & Responsibilities

  • Map and analyse the energy consumption of the company’s machine fleet to establish a reliable baseline and segmentation by equipment type.
  • Design and standardise a company-wide methodology for machine-level energy measurement, monitoring and benchmarking.
  • Conduct targeted energy audits on key production assets and identify opportunities for operational and technical savings.
  • Define KPIs and reporting templates to track energy performance, and implement data collection routines with production teams.
  • Collaborate with engineering, facilities and production stakeholders to pilot energy reduction measures and document results.
  • Produce clear technical reports and present findings and recommendations to cross‑functional stakeholders to enable roll-out.

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme in Mechanical, Energy, Environmental or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent technical field.
  • Demonstrable analytical ability, including experience with energy audits, consumption profiling or industrial instrumentation.
  • Familiarity with energy management principles and standards (e.g. ISO 50001) and basic knowledge of HVAC/power systems in manufacturing.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare technical reports and present to multidisciplinary teams.
  • Autonomy, attention to detail and a pragmatic, implementation-oriented approach to engineering problems.
