Role & Responsibilities
- Define and drive the enterprise architecture vision, principles and long-term roadmap to align business strategy with IT capabilities across applications, data, integration, infrastructure and security domains.

- Establish and govern architecture standards, patterns, reusable components and compliance checkpoints; chair architecture review boards and approve major solution designs.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners and senior IT leaders to translate business requirements into coherent multi-year transformation programmes.
- Provide technical leadership to solution architects and engineering teams during delivery, ensuring conformance to the target architecture and promoting best practices (APIs, microservices, cloud-native patterns).
- Assess emerging technologies and vendors, produce business-impact analyses, and recommend pragmatic adoption approaches for cloud, data, integration and security technologies.
- Define migration strategies from legacy systems (including ERP/CRM landscapes) to modern platforms, and produce phased implementation roadmaps with clear milestones and risk mitigation.
- Mentor architecture and development teams, promote an architecture-first mindset and contribute to capability-building across the IT organisation.
Qualifications
- Proven track record as an enterprise architect or senior solution architect within complex, multi-domain IT environments (manufacturing, retail or luxury goods preferred).
- Strong knowledge of architecture frameworks and methods such as TOGAF and ArchiMate; formal certification preferred.
- Demonstrable experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure and/or GCP), API management (e.g. MuleSoft, Apigee) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Experience with enterprise ERP/CRM ecosystems (SAP S/4HANA or equivalent) and with integrating transactional manufacturing and retail systems.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and governance skills, able to influence senior executives and reconcile business priorities with technical constraints.
- Excellent analytical, communication and leadership capabilities; able to translate complex technical concepts into business-impacting recommendations.
