Role & Responsibilities
- Operate automated galvanic/electroplating equipment to process watch components in series while meeting required quality standards and production deadlines.
- Prepare, monitor and control chemical treatment baths, ensuring correct parameters and documentation of bath conditions.
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine adjustments on plating lines to maintain uninterrupted production.
- Participate in technical troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis to resolve production issues.
- Support the technical representative in process follow‑up and optimisation initiatives to improve yield and consistency.
Qualifications
- Swiss Federal VET Certificate (CFC) in electroplating (électroplaste) or Federal VET Diploma (AFP) as surface treatment assistant, or equivalent vocational qualification.
- Proven professional experience in industrial surface treatment / electroplating operations.
- Solid knowledge of chemical handling and safety regulations related to plating processes.
- Demonstrated ability to operate and monitor treatment baths and automated plating lines.
- High level of rigor, methodical working habits and strong attention to detail.
Skills
Experience
Confirmed experience in industrial surface treatment and electroplating on automated equipment is required; experience in watchmaking or precision component finishing is strongly advantageous.
Education
CFC in électroplaste or AFP as assistant in surface treatment (or equivalent vocational qualification).
