Rolex seeks an Electroplater for its Production division to analyse, treat and protect component surfaces using galvanic processes. The role covers electrolytic baths, automated installations, dial finishing and inspection, equipment maintenance, and chemical stock and waste management.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare, analyse and monitor electrolytic baths.
- Operate and monitor automated galvanic treatment installations.
- Carry out post-treatment washing and surface finishing.
- Identify the main components of electrolytes and calculate the required quantities of chemicals.
- Adjust and calibrate equipment, instruments and machinery.
- Maintain technical installations and verify their proper operation.
- Calculate and determine surface-treatment parameters, including pretreatment, current density, deposition time and dial surface area.
- Examine treated dials, detect defects and take corrective measures.
- Manage chemical product stocks and waste.
Qualifications
- CFC qualification as an electroplater or equivalent.
- Experience in industrial surface treatment is an advantage.
- Knowledge of chemical product safety.
- A responsible, careful, rigorous, organised and methodical approach.
