Rolex is hiring an Electroplater in Geneva, Switzerland — supervise electroplating equipment and train production operators.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee and supervise electroplating (galvanoplasty) equipment and daily operations to ensure process stability and product quality.
- Prepare and execute series changeovers (line/setup changes) while ensuring compliance with process parameters and safety rules.
- Support production operators by diagnosing and resolving technical issues; act as first-level technical escalation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and participate in problem-solving activities to optimise processes and yield.
- Train, mentor and temporarily replace production operators; support and assist the apprentice electroplating trainer as required.
Qualifications
- CFC (Swiss Federal VET Certificate) in Electroplating (Électroplaste) or equivalent recognised vocational qualification.
- Strong practical mastery of electroplating/galvanoplasty processes and production equipment.
- Familiarity with basic problem‑solving methodologies and tools.
- Proficient with office software for documentation and reporting.
- Demonstrated leadership, methodical approach and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with production teams.
Skills
Experience
Several years of hands-on experience in electroplating or surface treatment within a production environment, including prior responsibility for equipment oversight and operator support (typically 3+ years).
Education
CFC (Swiss Federal VET Certificate) in Electroplating (Électroplaste) or equivalent vocational diploma.
