Rolex is hiring an Electrical Project Manager in Geneva to lead electrical engineering projects in precision watch manufacturing.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end electrical engineering projects within manufacturing and production facilities, from concept and specification through commissioning and close-out.
- Produce and review electrical design documentation, single-line diagrams, panel layouts and schematics using industry CAD tools; ensure conformity with applicable electrical codes and internal standards.
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders including production, maintenance, automation, procurement and external contractors to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
- Develop project plans, schedules and budgets; manage risk, change orders and technical queries throughout the project lifecycle.
- Supervise installation, testing and commissioning activities; perform site inspections and validate compliance with safety and quality requirements.
- Specify and procure electrical equipment and components, evaluate supplier proposals and manage supplier performance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to energy distribution, powering of production equipment, and electrical safety practices.
Qualifications
- Degree in electrical engineering, electrotechnology or equivalent technical qualification.
- Proven experience managing medium to large electrical projects in an industrial or precision manufacturing environment.
- Practical knowledge of electrical distribution, panels, motor control, PLC interfaces and industrial power systems.
- Familiarity with electrical safety standards and practices (IEC standards and local electrical regulations); electrical safety certification desirable.
- Strong project management skills including budgeting, scheduling and contractor management; experience with supplier qualification and procurement processes.
- Fluent technical written and verbal communication; ability to produce clear technical documentation and to chair cross-disciplinary meetings.

Experience
Several years (typically 5+ years) of progressive hands-on experience in electrical engineering and project management within industrial or high-precision manufacturing settings; experience in watchmaking or other high-precision production environments is an advantage.
Education
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electrotechnical Engineering, or equivalent technical diploma.
