Rolex in Geneva seeks an Electrical Project Manager to lead building electrical projects and renovations for the Procurement/Facilities department.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute and supervise new-build and renovation electrical projects across multiple building sectors.
  • Define preliminary designs and technical specifications, prepare and manage tender processes, and oversee site receptions in close collaboration with operations teams.
  • Ensure correct design and sizing of electrical installations in accordance with regulatory and technical requirements.
  • Manage administrative project controls, including schedules, budgets and regular reporting to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and support external engineering bureaux and manage internal and external contractors and service providers throughout project delivery.

Qualifications

  • Hold an engineering or technical qualification (e.g., HES engineer, ES technician) or a CFC as an electrician with the Swiss federal diploma for project-leading electricians in installation and safety.
  • Proven track record in managing and following up electrical projects for buildings, including new construction and renovations.
  • Solid IT literacy with familiarity in common office software and project administration tools.
  • Demonstrated interest in new technologies and energy-efficiency aspects of building services.
  • Strong team orientation with a pronounced client-service mindset; adaptable, autonomous and versatile.
  • Native-level French or German; good proficiency in the other language is an asset.

Experience

Confirmed professional experience managing electrical projects for buildings, encompassing preliminary design, tendering, contractor supervision, budget and schedule control, and site acceptance.

Education

Degree or diploma such as HES engineer, ES technician, or CFC electrician with the Swiss federal diploma for project-leading electricians in installation and safety.
