Role & Responsibilities

  • Design and execute an experimental programme to characterise performance of coloured elastomer blends.
  • Prepare, condition and document elastomer test specimens following laboratory procedures and traceability standards.
  • Perform mechanical and physical testing (e.g., tensile, elongation, hardness, tear, aging, accelerated weathering) and colour‑stability assessments (spectrophotometry/colourimetry).
  • Operate and calibrate laboratory instruments; ensure accurate data capture and instrument log maintenance.
  • Analyse test data, apply statistical methods to derive performance metrics, and synthesise results into a structured performance reference database.
  • Draft clear technical reports and present findings to R&D and quality stakeholders, including practical recommendations for formulation or test‑method improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (materials, quality, manufacturing) to ensure results are actionable and aligned with production constraints.
