Rolex is hiring a Dial Technician in Geneva to assemble and develop watch dial prototypes in Research & Development.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute decal application on dials using manual techniques and/or production equipment
- Assemble appliqués and counters onto dials via manual riveting and/or production machinery
- Apply luminescent material to appliqués and dial surfaces
- Perform appliqué setting operations
- Bond mother-of-pearl, meteorite, precious stones, and exotic materials to dial components
- Collaborate with Design and Project Management teams on prototype concepts and specifications
- Develop assembly specifications aligned with team capabilities and expertise
- Communicate new product assembly methods to Industrialization and Production partners
- Maintain active technological surveillance and innovation in the dial assembly domain
Qualifications
- CFC (Federal Diploma of Competence) as a dial craftsperson, jeweler, or equivalent certification in dial assembly
- Demonstrated expertise in decal application and appliqué positioning
- Proficiency with standard IT applications (Microsoft Office), SAP, and/or Kheops systems
- Exceptional manual dexterity and precision in handling dial components
- Dynamic, positive mindset with openness to change and innovation
- Strong team collaboration skills combined with excellent communication and independent work capability
- Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities
Skills
Experience
Experience in watchmaking dial assembly and prototype development, with demonstrated mastery of manual and mechanical assembly methods in a precision environment.
Education
CFC (Federal Diploma of Competence) in dial craftsmanship, jewelry making, or equivalent vocational qualification in dial assembly.
