Rolex in Geneva is hiring a Delegated Buyer — procurement role focused on sourcing, negotiation and supplier management.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for assigned categories, including supplier selection, RFQs, negotiation, contracting and order follow-up.
- Execute sourcing strategies that optimise total cost of ownership while maintaining Rolex's standards for quality, delivery and compliance.
- Maintain and develop supplier relationships; conduct performance reviews, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, quality and logistics teams to align specifications, lead times and inventory targets with operational needs.
- Analyse market trends, cost drivers and supplier risk to identify alternative sources and to support business continuity planning.
- Prepare commercial documentation, purchase orders and contract clauses; ensure adherence to internal procurement policies and audit requirements.
- Monitor spend, supplier KPIs and savings opportunities, and report procurement metrics to category managers and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or equivalent professional experience in procurement.
- Several years of procurement experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment; experience within watches, precision components or luxury goods preferred.
- Proven track-record of commercial negotiation and contract management with international suppliers.
- Solid understanding of sourcing methodologies, total cost analysis and supplier performance management.
- Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in preparing procurement reports and business cases.

Typically 3–6 years of progressive purchasing or sourcing experience in an industrial or luxury manufacturing setting, with demonstrated responsibility for supplier selection, negotiation and end-to-end purchase-to-pay processes.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
