Rolex — Geneva: Critical Platform Infrastructure Manager. Lead the MES infrastructure team to ensure availability and performance of manufacturing systems.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coordinate closely with the platform development team to align operational and project priorities.
- Administer and supervise technical infrastructure resources supporting MES (Manufacturing Execution System) solutions.
- Ensure, measure and optimise system availability, performance and security for critical production platforms.
- Lead platform evolutions and deployment activities, ensuring changes are tested and rolled out with minimal production impact.
- Act as escalation point for complex Level 3 incidents and drive root‑cause analysis and remediation.
- Manage the platform lifecycle including capacity planning, patching, upgrades and decommissioning.
- Guarantee continuity of production control services and reliable operation of workshop equipment interfaces.
- Deliver technical artefacts and milestones in accordance with project schedules.
- Participate in the managerial on‑call rotation and provide advanced support when required.
Qualifications
- Higher education in computer science or engineering (Bachelor’s/Master’s or HES/HEI equivalent).
- Minimum three years’ experience in a similar role with responsibility for at least five direct reports.
- Proven operational experience on system infrastructures supporting manufacturing systems (Cluster MS, SQL Server AlwaysOn, LoadBalancer, Kubernetes).
- Demonstrable DevOps culture and practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Advanced troubleshooting capabilities and familiarity with supervision tools and dashboards.
- Strong awareness of information security principles and operational resilience.
- Clear leadership, excellent listening and interpersonal skills, client‑service orientation, autonomy and a strong team spirit.

Experience
At least 3 years in an operational infrastructure management role for critical systems, including hands‑on responsibility for production availability, incident management (Level 3) and leading a technical team of five or more.
Education
Higher education in computer science or engineering (Bachelor's/Master's or HES/HEI equivalent).
