Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 2/3 support and resolve incidents affecting Control-M (EM/Server/Agents).
  • Administer and enhance Control-M platforms, including installations, patching, post-upgrade verifications, and conducting upgrades/hypercare.
  • Manage job scheduling, including planning, calendars, workload policies, and blackouts.
  • Oversee and maintain Windows and Linux agents, deploying via Puppet/Chocolatey, and performing diagnostics and remediation.
  • Manage the lifecycle of SSL/TLS certificates, including renewal and expiration monitoring, and coordinate with Network/Security for flow openings.
  • Design and industrialize workflows and integrations (SAP/ABAP, MDM, WebDAV, scripts), managing dependencies, return codes, and logs.
  • Automate and industrialize processes using Call API, scripts (Python/PowerShell), and deployment tools to reduce manual operations.
  • Ensure operational continuity, monitor executions, provide hypercare, and communicate with DBA/Systems/Applications teams.

Qualifications

  • University degree (Master's) in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in scheduling administration (Control-M or equivalent) and operations in a critical environment.

Skills

Proficiency in BMC Control-M (EM/Server/Archiving/Agents) and workflow design. Expertise in Linux and Windows systems (troubleshooting agents, file systems, permissions). Experience with job automation/deployment: Ansible, Puppet, Chocolatey; scripting in Python and/or PowerShell. Knowledge of security and networking: SSL/TLS, certificate management, network flows. Experience with application integrations: SAP (RFC/ABAP), MDM, WebDAV; ITSM/observability tools: BigPanda, ServiceNow. Familiarity with Control-M APIs (Call API) and experience in multi-environment industrialization (INT/QUAL/PROD). Leadership and ability to unite teams around common objectives. Strong communication and synthesis skills. Problem-solving and emergency management capabilities. Fluency in French, technical English (reading/writing).

Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in scheduling administration (Control-M or equivalent) and operations in a critical environment.

Education

University degree (Master's) in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
