Role & Responsibilities
- Catalogue and map current production use cases within the Manufacture related to the target cyanurated chemistry.
- Design and execute laboratory experiments to characterise surfaces generated by existing processes, and analyse electrochemical and chemical interactions with those surfaces.
- Propose and rationalise reaction mechanisms for the product–surface interactions using electrochemical and chemical evidence.
- Conduct a benchmark and comprehensive scientific literature review to situate the subject within current academic and industrial practice.
- Identify and evaluate alternative chemical products suitable for the defined use cases, including comparative performance and compatibility.
- Perform risk analyses per use case (current versus projected deployments) and document safety/handling implications.
- Consolidate experimental results, prepare technical reports and present findings to R&D and production stakeholders to enable knowledge transfer.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s programme in electrochemistry, materials science, chemistry or an equivalent discipline.
- Proven ability in chemical synthesis and practical laboratory work.
- Demonstrated capability to perform scientific literature reviews and benchmark studies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to summarise technical results for multidisciplinary teams.
- Autonomous, proactive and solution‑oriented with good organisational skills.
Skills
Experience
Laboratory experience in electrochemistry or materials/chemical research is required; previous internships or project work demonstrating hands‑on synthesis and surface characterisation is strongly preferred.
Education
Master’s degree in progress (Electrochemistry, Materials Science, Chemistry or equivalent).
