Role & Responsibilities
- Plan, perform, interpret and present chemical analyses in support of production, quality control and R&D activities.
- Assist professional chemists with analytical methods and laboratory experiments while following prescribed protocols.
- Maintain, clean and perform basic upkeep on laboratory equipment and instruments; manage reagents and consumables stock.
- Record, document and report analytical results accurately, ensuring traceability and compliance with laboratory procedures.
- Apply health, safety and environmental protocols within laboratory operations and contribute to continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Eligible candidate for a CFC apprenticeship in chemistry (apprenticeship/Apprentissage).
- Interest and aptitude for scientific disciplines, particularly chemistry; logical, methodical mindset.
- Rigor, precision, strong observational skills and ability to work collaboratively and take initiative.
- Good written communication skills and comfort using computer tools.
- Application dossier to include CV, cover letter and school reports for the last three academic years; candidates must register for and pass AGEMEL tests where required.

No prior professional laboratory experience required; the role is an apprenticeship intended for candidates with a solid academic record in secondary-level science and a strong motivation to train in analytical chemistry.
Education
Completion of compulsory schooling with demonstrable academic records (school reports from the last three years). Eligibility for a Swiss CFC apprenticeship and successful registration/assessment with AGEMEL is required.
