Rolex SA hiring CAD/CAM Developer in Geneva, Switzerland. Java integration, Kubernetes expertise required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform corrective and evolutionary maintenance on Java-based applications, ensuring robustness and reliability in production
- Design and implement solid, maintainable, and secure architectures that meet long-term operational requirements
- Integrate applications with the existing IT ecosystem while maintaining overall information systems coherence
- Actively participate in production deployments, particularly on Kubernetes environments, applying DevOps best practices
- Analyze business requirements and diagnose application incidents to propose pertinent and sustainable solutions
- Contribute to elevating code quality standards, development practices, and delivery processes within the development team
- Provide occasional support to other teams within the division with Java expertise, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT development roles
- Confirmed experience with Agile methodologies, ideally Kanban
- Autonomy in Java application analysis, development, and delivery
- Strong maturity in code quality, maintainability, and software development best practices
- Strong sensitivity to application security
- Experience with application integration and interconnected systems
- Proficiency or solid experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Operational knowledge of Kubernetes deployment
- Capacity to provide occasional support on Python, C, or .NET application maintenance
- Ability to write automated tests using Bruno, Playwright, or Eggplant
