Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute category sourcing strategies for components, materials and services that support high-precision watch manufacturing.
- Identify, evaluate and qualify suppliers; lead commercial negotiations, contract drafting and supplier onboarding.
- Collaborate with design, engineering, quality and production teams to translate technical specifications into procurement requirements and ensure compliance with product and regulatory standards.
- Manage supplier performance through KPIs, periodic reviews, corrective action plans and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Control cost structure via total-cost-of-ownership analysis, cost-modeling and value-engineering while safeguarding quality and lead-time targets.
- Mitigate supply‑chain risk by maintaining multi-sourcing plans, inventory contingencies and supplier audit programmes.
- Prepare procurement forecasts, purchase orders and regular management reporting; ensure accurate documentation for auditability and traceability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related discipline; advanced degree or purchasing certification (e.g., CIPS) preferred.
- Proven track record (typically 3–6 years) in industrial procurement, ideally within watches, luxury goods or precision manufacturing.
- Demonstrable experience in supplier selection, commercial negotiation and contract management for technical components.
- Strong analytical aptitude with experience in cost modelling, forecasting and KPI-driven supplier governance.
- High ethical standards and familiarity with supplier compliance, quality systems and regulatory requirements.

Experience
Typically 3–6 years of progressive procurement or buying experience in an industrial or luxury manufacturing environment, with hands-on responsibility for supplier selection, negotiation and performance management.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or a related field; professional purchasing certification or a relevant master's degree is advantageous.
