Role & Responsibilities
- Define and manage the enterprise data repository (reference/master data) spanning PLM, SAP (ERP) and MES landscapes, ensuring consistency of product, BOM and process data.
- Elicit and translate business requirements into robust data models, governance rules and integration specifications in collaboration with product development, manufacturing and IT stakeholders.
- Design and oversee data flows and system interfaces between PLM, SAP and MES, including data mapping, validation rules and reconciliation processes.
- Coordinate and lead data migration, integration and testing activities for new implementations and upgrades; define acceptance criteria and support user acceptance testing.
- Develop and enforce data governance practices, metadata standards and quality metrics; monitor data quality and drive remediation actions.
- Produce clear documentation, runbooks and training materials; provide operational support and troubleshooting for data‑related incidents.
- Act as the business‑domain subject matter expert for product lifecycle and manufacturing data, providing guidance on best practices and continuous improvement opportunities.
Qualifications
- Degree in engineering, information systems, industrial engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Proven understanding of product lifecycle management and manufacturing processes, with demonstrable experience working across PLM, SAP and MES systems.
- Practical experience in defining data models, master data governance and data quality frameworks.
- Proven track record of specifying system integrations, performing data migrations and coordinating cross‑functional project deliveries.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to translate complex business needs into technical requirements.

Experience
Several years of hands‑on experience in IT/business roles supporting PLM, SAP and MES implementations or integrations, including data modelling, migration and governance. Experience delivering cross‑discipline projects in manufacturing or product development environments is highly desirable.
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
