Rolex seeks a Building Automation Technician in Bienne, Switzerland to maintain and program centralized building management systems.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the facility's BMS for HVAC, lighting, shading, and door systems across the Bienne campus
- Program and configure automation controllers (PX and TRA units) using industry-standard protocols and supervision software
- Contribute to planning, implementation, and commissioning of new facility projects
- Participate in on-call technical support rotation for emergency building system issues
- Develop and implement cross-functional operational dashboards and monitoring tools for the building technical team
Qualifications
- Federal diploma or apprenticeship certificate in building automation or electrical engineering
- Advanced proficiency in automation controller programming and BMS supervision systems
- Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and apply electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills with a customer-service orientation
- Initiative, assertiveness, and sound decision-making capabilities
Skills
Experience
Confirmed professional experience in BMS applied to large portfolios of HVAC, electrical, and building services installations.
Education
Certified Federal Diploma (CFC) or Federal Diploma of Higher Education in building automation or electrical engineering.
