Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain internal BIM standards and protocols for large-scale projects with particular emphasis on building operations and lifecycle information.
- Define and implement BIM methodology and working procedures specifically for the CVSE/MEP discipline in line with the company’s BIM strategy.
- Monitor and evaluate BIM-related software solutions and promote technological best practices for MEP coordination.
- Provide technical support and training to internal stakeholders on modelling and coordination tools.
- Validate and quality-control BIM models against information requirements and corporate BIM standards before handover for operations.
- Act as primary liaison with the BIM Manager for all BIM matters related to the MEP/CVSE scope.
- Coordinate model integration across building sectors and ensure availability and integrity of the federated coordination model.
- Lead and facilitate spatial coordination meetings with project stakeholders to resolve clashes and integration issues.
- Collaborate closely with the BIM Coordinator for Architecture/Structure to ensure consistent multidisciplinary workflows.
Qualifications
- Technician ES diploma or Bachelor HES in building services / MEP / building technology, or equivalent qualification.
- buildingSMART Phase 1 — Basic Module certification required.
- Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in BIM Coordination is desirable.
- Minimum five years’ proven experience in a similar BIM coordination role, preferably on large or complex projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; professional presentation.
- Strong attention to detail, rigorous working methods and collaborative team spirit.
