Rolex Geneva: BIM Coordinator for HVAC/building systems. Lead deployment of BIM methodology, manage model coordination, and support multidisciplinary teams in large-scale projects.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement internal BIM standards for large-scale projects, with emphasis on building operations and lifecycle management in collaboration with the BIM Manager
  • Establish working methodologies aligned with BIM strategy for HVAC and building systems disciplines
  • Conduct technology monitoring and evaluation of software solutions dedicated to BIM for HVAC and systems work
  • Provide technical support to internal staff on modelling and coordination software platforms
  • Quality control and validation of models against information requirements and corporate BIM standards
  • Ensure effective collaboration with Architecture/Structure BIM Coordinators
  • Review and approve design and construction BIM models prior to operational handover
  • Maintain and coordinate the master coordination model and its integration across building disciplines
  • Lead and facilitate spatial coordination sessions with all project participants
  • Serve as primary point of contact to the BIM Manager on all HVAC and systems BIM matters

Qualifications

  • Technician (ES) or Bachelor's degree (HES) in HVAC/Building Systems or equivalent discipline
  • buildingSMART Phase 1 – Basic Module certification (mandatory)
  • Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in BIM Coordination (preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a comparable BIM or building systems coordination role
  • Proficiency with Revit, Solibri, and multiple Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in French and English
  • Demonstrated rigour and precision in technical documentation and model development
  • Strong collaborative mindset with proven teamwork capabilities

Experience

Technician diploma (ES) or Bachelor's degree (HES) in HVAC/Building Systems Engineering, Building Services, or equivalent technical discipline. buildingSMART Phase 1 – Basic Module certification is mandatory; a Certificate of Advanced Studies in BIM Coordination is advantageous.
