Role & Responsibilities
- Administer, monitor and maintain the SAP BW and SAP BusinessObjects (BO) landscape, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Implement and support BI developments: create and modify data models, InfoProviders, queries and universes; optimise reporting performance.
- Manage daily incident resolution, production support, root-cause analysis and corrective actions within SLAs.
- Coordinate upgrades, patching and migrations for SAP BW/BO components in collaboration with SAP Basis and infrastructure teams.
- Ensure data quality, security and governance of reporting datasets; implement access controls and change management procedures.
- Automate operational tasks, monitoring and deployments; maintain runbooks and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers and stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in project delivery for BI initiatives, including testing, cutover and post‑implementation support.
Qualifications
- Proven track record administering SAP BW and SAP BusinessObjects in production environments.
- Professional proficiency in English; French language skills preferred for Geneva-based environments.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and data modelling for reporting and analytics.
- Experience with SAP HANA and BW/4HANA migrations or implementations is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes, incident/change management and system monitoring best practices.
- SAP certification in BW/BI or BusinessObjects is a plus.
Skills
Experience
3–5 years of hands-on experience administering SAP BW and SAP BusinessObjects in enterprise environments, including production support, performance tuning and participation in upgrade or migration projects.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
