Role & Responsibilities
- Undertake vocational training (CFC) combining on-the-job learning with formal school instruction to become a certified automation technician.
- Assist in installation, calibration and maintenance of automated production equipment and assembly lines used in high-precision watch manufacturing.
- Perform basic diagnostics and troubleshooting of electromechanical systems, sensors and control panels under the guidance of senior technicians.
- Support PLC and control-system tasks, including program revisions, parameter adjustments and testing in a controlled production environment.
- Follow detailed technical documentation, record maintenance activities, and maintain accurate apprenticeship logbooks and school reports.
- Adhere to strict safety, cleanliness and quality protocols essential to luxury watch production and precision manufacturing.
Qualifications
- Completed compulsory schooling or equivalent; candidacy for a Swiss CFC apprenticeship programme.
