Rolex Automatic Screw Machine Operator position in Bienne, Switzerland. Setup and production supervision role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with production standards and specifications
- Train, mentor, and substitute for production operators as required
- Collaborate with adjusters to resolve technical issues and optimise machine performance
- Conduct and pilot follow-up meetings and associated action plans
- Contribute to knowledge capitalisation and best-practice sharing across the department
- Support the integration of new manufacturing equipment and processes
- Train and mentor apprentices completing formal screw-machine certification
Qualifications
- Federal Diploma in Polymechanics with focus on screw-machining or equivalent qualification
- Proven expertise on Tornos Swissnano and Citizen R04/R07 automatic screw machines
- Proficiency in fundamental problem-solving methodologies
- Methodical approach with strong analytical capabilities
- Ability to propose and drive process improvements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience
Confirmed experience operating Tornos Swissnano and Citizen R04/R07 automatic screw machines in a precision manufacturing environment, with demonstrated ability to train and supervise production personnel.
Education
Federal Diploma (CFC) in Polymechanics with specialisation in screw-machining, or equivalent qualification recognised in Switzerland.
