Rolex Assembly Methods Engineer in Bienne, Switzerland. Design and optimize manufacturing processes in automated assembly operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Program and define assembly strategies and process flows for new and existing product lines
- Conduct equipment setup and process optimization through hands-on commissioning activities
- Disseminate assembly strategies and validated processes across production teams during industrialization phases
- Train and support production operators during process transfer and implementation
- Participate in qualification and validation of new manufacturing and assembly equipment
- Ensure product specifications are correctly defined at operational level in collaboration with process managers and industrialization engineers
- Monitor technological developments and evaluate emerging assembly methodologies and innovations
Qualifications
- CFC (Federal Certificate of Competency) in automation or equivalent technical qualification
- Demonstrated experience in automated assembly processes and methodologies
- Strong technical foundation with intellectual curiosity regarding emerging technologies
- Analytical and synthetic thinking capability for complex problem-solving
- Ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary and cross-functional teams

Confirmed professional experience in the field of automated assembly, with proven expertise in process development and equipment optimization within manufacturing environments.
Education
