Role & Responsibilities
- Perform hand and machine polishing of watch cases, bracelets and small components to Rolex quality standards.
- Prepare surfaces by deburring, cleaning and selecting appropriate abrasives and compounds.
- Execute finishing sequences to achieve specified textures, satinings and high-gloss polishes.
- Inspect finished parts under magnification for surface quality, conformity and defects; report non-conformities promptly.
- Maintain polishing tools, abrasives and workstations in accordance with hygiene and safety procedures.
- Follow production documentation and work instructions; record progress and quality checks as required by the apprenticeship curriculum.
- Collaborate with bench, assembly and quality teams to ensure hand-off of compliant components.
- Attend vocational school and internal training modules to fulfil AFP apprenticeship requirements.
Qualifications
- Completion of compulsory schooling (required) and eligibility for a Swiss vocational apprenticeship (AFP).
