Rolex in Geneva seeks an Application Support Specialist to manage enterprise applications, incidents and SLA-driven remediation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide second-line application support for enterprise and production systems, managing incidents and service requests through to resolution in accordance with SLAs.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot application faults, analysing logs and system metrics to identify root causes and implement corrective actions or workarounds.
- Coordinate with development teams, infrastructure, vendors and business stakeholders to triage, prioritise and remediate issues.
- Deploy patches and application updates in controlled environments, participate in release validation and rollback planning.
- Maintain and evolve runbooks, support documentation and knowledge base articles to standardise operational procedures.
- Monitor application health and availability, implement alerting and collaborate on capacity/stability improvements.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying recurring incidents, proposing remediation plans and supporting post-incident reviews.
- Ensure change control, security and compliance requirements are observed during support and maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent technical qualification, or comparable professional experience.
- ITIL Foundation certification or demonstrable understanding of ITSM processes.
- Proven analytical problem-solving skills with methodical incident diagnosis.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills to liaise with technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities in a high-availability environment.
- Fluency in corporate English; additional language skills (e.g. French) beneficial.

Typically 3+ years of hands-on experience in application support, production incident management and cross-functional problem resolution within enterprise IT environments.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent; relevant professional certifications (ITIL, database or application-specific) preferred.
