Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct a comprehensive inventory and technical assessment of the existing application portfolio, identifying redundancy, risk and technical debt.
- Classify applications by business criticality, technology stack, maintenance effort and compliance constraints to inform rationalization decisions.
- Develop a prioritized modernization roadmap with concrete migration, consolidation or retirement recommendations.
- Produce quantitative analyses and dashboards to support executive decision-making and IT governance forums.
- Collaborate with application owners, business stakeholders and infrastructure teams to validate findings and align on remediation plans.
- Define target architecture patterns and propose migration approaches (replatform, refactor, replace) compatible with Rolex security and operational requirements.
- Support the preparation of business cases, cost estimates and project scopes for approved modernization initiatives.
- Document standards, lifecycle governance and metrics to embed continuous portfolio management practices.
Qualifications
- Enrolment in a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Solid analytical aptitude with demonstrable experience in data-driven assessments (academic projects, internships or consulting assignments).
- Familiarity with application lifecycle concepts, technical debt, and modernisation strategies (cloud migration, modularisation, API enablement).
- Strong written and oral communication skills for presenting findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders; professional English required, French advantageous.
- Professionalism, discretion and an ability to work within a regulated, quality-driven environment.

Experience
Prior practical exposure through internships, academic projects or consultancy engagements involving application assessment, systems analysis or IT transformation. Hands-on experience cataloguing applications, producing metrics and drafting modernization proposals is preferred.
Education
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent.
