Role & Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed diagnostic analysis and functional testing of mechanical watch movements to determine root causes of failures and deviations.
  • Disassemble, inspect, measure and reassemble calibres with meticulous adherence to technical specifications and tolerances.
  • Operate and interpret results from timing machines, micrometric gauges, benches and other horological test equipment to validate performance.
  • Prepare clear technical reports and repair recommendations for after‑sales service, R&D and quality teams; document findings in the service/quality database.
  • Collaborate with product engineers and quality assurance to identify recurrent issues, propose corrective actions and improve production or service protocols.
  • Maintain calibration and cleanliness of specialised instruments and ensure compliance with workshop procedures and traceability standards.

Qualifications

  • Formal watchmaking qualification (WOSTEP, industry diploma or equivalent vocational certificate) or demonstrable equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience servicing high‑end mechanical watches, with a track record in diagnostics, adjustment and precision assembly.
  • Exceptional manual dexterity, visual acuity and attention to micro‑tolerances.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and movement schematics and to apply measurement data to troubleshooting.
