Role & Responsibilities
- Perform final finishing, reassembly and adjustment of serviced timepieces to Rolex technical standards following repair by watchmakers.
- Execute precision timing and regulation to ensure chronometric performance and verify accuracy against brand tolerances.
- Carry out cosmetic restoration tasks including polishing, brushing and final aesthetic finishing of cases and bracelets.
- Complete functional and environmental tests (waterproofing/pressure tests, power‑reserve checks) and record results in service documentation.
- Inspect components and finished watches using loupe/microscope; identify and report non‑conformities or warranty issues to senior watchmakers.
- Guarantee traceability by maintaining accurate service records and labelling, and ensure secure handling of customer property.
- Adhere strictly to Rolex service protocols, quality procedures and health & safety standards in the after‑sales workshop.
Qualifications
- Diploma in watchmaking or equivalent (WOSTEP, CFC Horloger or recognised technical qualification).
- Formal training or certification in after‑sales/service procedures (Rolex service training preferred).
- Excellent manual dexterity, visual acuity and fine motor control appropriate to micromechanical work.
- Knowledge of chronometer regulation and watch timing adjustments.
- Strong attention to detail, methodical approach and commitment to quality and confidentiality.
Skills
Experience
Typically 2–5 years of professional experience in watch assembly, finishing or after‑sales service within high‑end horology; prior experience in a brand service centre or bench role is highly desirable.
Education
Diploma in watchmaking (WOSTEP, CFC horloger or equivalent technical qualification).
