Supply Chain Manager at RIMOWA Cologne: lead production planning, logistics, and warehouse operations for the luxury luggage manufacturer's German facility.
Role & Responsibilities
- Direct oversight of goods receipt, inventory management, internal material flows, and factory logistics, including intercompany handling of semi-finished products
- Ensure uninterrupted material supply to production departments and maintain adherence to safety and quality standards
- Optimize warehouse structures, space utilization, and internal transport concepts; manage inventory accuracy, physical counts, and stock transparency
- Develop and manage short-, medium-, and long-term production and capacity plans in coordination with central supply chain, production, and procurement functions
- Oversee weekly production schedules, coordinate short-term adjustments, and escalate deviations appropriately
- Lead warehouse, internal logistics, and production planning teams; foster a performance- and improvement-oriented culture
- Drive continuous improvement of supply chain processes; leverage and develop ERP and planning systems
- Define and monitor key performance indicators including OTIF, inventory accuracy, and internal safety stock targets
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 5 years of supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a leadership capacity
- Demonstrated experience with ERP systems and production planning software
- Proven track record of team leadership and cross-functional stakeholder management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with ability to synthesize complex issues rapidly
- Structured and assertive work approach with solution-oriented mindset
- Fluency in German and English (business-level proficiency required)

Experience
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in supply chain functions within a manufacturing setting, ideally in a managerial or supervisory capacity. Leadership experience and proficiency with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems are essential.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable discipline.
