RIMOWA is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to manage product availability, distribution, wholesale orders and store communications across Europe, while contributing to supply chain transformation and AI initiatives. This is a full-time, fixed-term position for 12 months, based on-site in Cologne, Germany.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage product supply, inventory levels and product launches for assigned stores, e-commerce platforms and local warehouse locations.
- Monitor product availability in stores and prevent stockouts.
- Analyse availability gaps across product categories and implement appropriate optimisation measures.
- Assess product launch requirements and plan the distribution of new products.
- Support store openings and closures, ensuring timely deliveries and sufficient product availability.
- Ensure the timely distribution of visual merchandising materials, window displays and other marketing materials to stores and franchise partners.
- Manage orders from B2B wholesale partners across Europe and monitor ordered quantities.
- Review orders and customer situations; adjust orders in line with internal policies, confirm orders, and issue invoices and credit notes.
- Track shipments and proactively inform the Logistics Manager and stores of delays, process deviations or damaged products.
- Handle requests for goodwill invoices for finished products, particularly for the PR/Talent team and other internal departments.
- Coordinate requests relating to crew and ambassador needs.
- Serve as the central point of contact for stores on product availability, new products and deliveries.
- Hold weekly check-ins with stores, share relevant information and ensure close collaboration.
- Prepare a weekly supply chain update for retail teams.
- Contribute actively to transformation projects shaping the future European supply chain and improving service levels for stores.
- Use data to inform decisions and conduct regular analyses to optimise distribution and product availability across Europe.
- Identify and test AI use cases to improve efficiency and smartness in day-to-day work.
Qualifications
- Ideally, a master's degree in supply chain; alternatively, a bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong analytical skills paired with excellent synthesis skills.
- Pragmatic and agile working style, with a talent for finding solutions quickly.
- Very good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Business-fluent English; French is an advantage.
